I damaged my cable, what do I do?
Our AVID cable is unique to the device. You must use the correct cable or you can damage the device beyond repair. If you do use an improper cable, you can mail us you device for PCB evaluation. In most cases, it will need a PCB replacement. This is $349 and includes a new PCB, cable, and return shipping. If we can repair it otherwise we will certainly try.
My gauges keep returning to the home screen, what is wrong?
When the device enters a sleep state it will return to home. This happens when voltage drops below a certain state. You can check these settings in the device Power Settings menu! When voltage drops below the threshold it will enter sleep mode in 5 seconds unless you touch the screen, which will delay the sleep function for several minutes.
I have a flashing issue, what is wrong?
The most common issue is some module errors thrown after a flash. Make sure you perform the key cycle at the end of the flash which will reset modules that were irritated by the flash process. If you have a failure to flash, please create a ticket at the top of the screen and we can get you going again.
My gauges keep saying "Key Off Detected", what is wrong?
This issue generally occurs when you have other devices on CAN also trying to get signals from the PCM. The PCM is not designed to talk to multiple devices and will stop sending/receiving if it gets "confused". Remove any third-party screens or add-on items that use network data before using AVID. This especially applies to flashing as well.
I need to flash my control pack.
For control pack flashing, at this time there are a few extra steps on our end. Please create a ticket at the top of the screen.
I don't want to use Wi-Fi, what do I do?
You can use a MicroSD card for all essential logging and flashing functions. You will need to navigate to the Downloads page and snag some configs and format the SD card properly. From there, you will set up some folders on the root of the card.
